We are looking for a skilled Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting complex children to reach their full potential, and a creative approach to meeting needs and enhancing curriculum delivery. In this role you will work collaboratively, supporting the teacher as part of a class staff team, to deliver education sessions and create a welcoming environment where all children and their parents feel valued and supported.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be able to think creatively and flexibly, using an understanding of each pupil’s individual needs to help them grow into successful adults. You should be prepared to learn about a variety of approaches to engage pupils and overcome barriers to learning. You will have a positive attitude and be willing to reflect and develop. You will strive to practice the Peterhouse values of Kindness, Integrity and Team First. You will have an understanding of Autism, and will have obtained a Teaching Assistant Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this.
