We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting exceptional children and a creative approach to meeting needs and enhancing curriculum delivery. In this role you will work collaboratively with the teacher and class staff team, to deliver education sessions and create a welcoming environment where all children and their parents feel valued and supported.
As a HLTA, you will think creatively and flexibly, using an understanding of each pupil’s individual needs. You will support the teacher in delivering our specialist curriculum and take responsibility for aspects of curriculum delivery. You should be skilled at finding ways to engage pupils and overcome barriers to learning. You will have a positive attitude and be willing to reflect and develop. You will have a strong understanding of Autism, and hold a Teaching Assistant Level 3 Diploma as a minimum qualification. You should be able to show how you meet the Higher Level Teaching Assistant Standards.
