What are we looking for?
We are seeking a dynamic, engaging and personable individual to play a key role in providing a high-quality generalist HR support service to our managers and employees. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
What will I be doing?
Based at Worksop, and reporting to the HR Manager, you will be the first point of call for HR queries and provide advice on employee relation matters, to Managers and Senior Managers to help them resolve their cases and to assist in internal investigations. You will make regular face-to-face visits to the managers in our services to assist in embedding a positive HR culture across the organisation. Taking ownership of processes such as absence management will allow the individual to grow within the role and progress within the department.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide HR advice and support to investigating officers in the management of casework; specifically investigations into conduct, capability and grievance matters.
- Generating management information and reports using the HR system reporting tools as required and directed by the HR Lead.
- Being responsible for contract writing and change in circumstances letters.
- Recording, updating and actioning absence information providing data and information to HR Manager in support of absence management activity.
- Design and deliver HR related training and learning tools for managers and colleagues.
- Undertake activity that supports continued professional development, learning and improved ways of working individually and for the HR department as a whole.
