We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Adult Service Manager to lead and develop a high-quality adult service that empowers individuals to achieve their goals, maximise their independence, and live fulfilling lives.

About the Role
As an Adult Service Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of a defined adult service.
You will lead a dedicated team to deliver outstanding support that is tailored to individual needs and focused on achieving meaningful outcomes for the people we support.
You will play a key role in developing innovative services that encourage personal growth, independence, and community participation, while ensuring services remain compliant with statutory, regulatory, and commissioning requirements.
As a member of the Operational Management Group, you will report to a member of the Senior Management Team and work collaboratively with colleagues across Adult Services to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The role also includes participation in the Adult Service Manager on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and management of a defined adult service.
- Drive the development and delivery of high-quality, person-centred support.
- Ensure services are responsive to the needs of individuals, families, commissioners, and stakeholders.
- Manage service budgets and resources effectively, ensuring value for money and sustainable service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory standards, and contractual requirements.
- Lead service improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes and experiences for the people we support.
- Develop positive relationships with commissioners, external partners, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor performance, quality, and service outcomes through robust data collection, analysis, and audit processes.
- Support a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and excellence within your teams.
