Sutherland House School Braithwell is an independent specialist school for autistic children and young people aged 5-19. The school prides itself on creating personalised learning opportunities with a vision for reaching potential for each individual pupil. We offer small class groups, favourable staffing levels and excellent opportunities for training and professional development. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

As part of a supportive staff team, you will have a passion for improving the lives of autistic pupils and their families. Your role will be to cover all our class teachers at various times during the week including PPA. You will have a commitment to working with our class teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons to ensure all pupils are reaching their full potential.

Previous experience with autistic pupils or teaching in an additional needs environment is desirable; however, full training and support will be given. We offer comprehensive training, fully paid induction and ongoing Continued Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.
