Autism Anglia, a well‑established independent charity, is looking for a Volunteer Gardener to join our dedicated team at our Peldon Campus in Colchester, Essex, to help maintain the outdoor spaces. Our gardens provide a calm and welcoming environment where residents can relax and enjoy nature.
Location: Peldon Campus, Church Road, Colchester, CO5 7PT
Time Commitment: Flexible (approx. 2 – 4 hours per week)
About The Role:
- Mowing lawns and maintaining grassed areas
- Light weeding and general garden maintenance
- Trimming small hedges and shrubs
- Watering plants and flowers when needed
- Sweeping paths and clearing light garden debris
We Are Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Friendly, reliable, and enjoys outdoor work
- Interested in gardening or grounds maintenance
- Respectful and understanding of a residential environment
- Able to work independently and follow basic guidance
- Physically able to carry out light gardening tasks
Previous Gardening Experience Is Helpful But Not Essential.
