Summer Intern in Business Development – Entertainment (EMEA) with Authentic Brands Group. This internship, running June to September, will provide training in brand licensing and opportunities to contribute to the expansion of Authentic’s entertainment partner network.
What You’ll Do
- The Business Development – Entertainment intern will be trained in the nuts and bolts of the brand licensing business.
- You will generate new business by identifying and qualifying leads to join Authentic’s global network of licensing partners in wholesale, retail, and the online marketplace sectors.
- You will gain 360-degree knowledge of expanding Authentic’s partnership universe.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Research focus areas and companies for key growth for the Business Development team.
- Outline new potential opportunities for Authentic Entertainment Properties.
- Support the team with meetings, presentation materials, notes on calls, etc.
- Learn various ways to structure deals relating to entertainment properties (Licensing Deals, Endorsements, Appearances, etc.).
- Learn how to craft professional emails and responses.
- Learn how to work with senior executives in a high-net worth company.
- Build a personal and professional network.
Must Haves
- Able to work up to 20 hours per week.
- Able to work onsite in our London office.
- Willingness to get your hands dirty and make things happen.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable in a high-paced, collaborative environment.
- Detail oriented.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and G Suite.
- Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks.
