Authentic Brands Group (Authentic) is a leading sports, media, entertainment and lifestyle platform. As the owner of some of the most iconic and beloved intellectual property in the world, Authentic acquires and invests in brands to create long-term value for all of its stakeholders. A digital-first, asset-light platform, Authentic sits at the intersection of culture, commerce and technology. It brings brands to life and cultivates fandom through powerful storytelling, premium content and unforgettable live experiences.

We are looking for a highly creative, strategically minded and culturally connected social media leader to shape the digital presence of one of the most globally recognised names in the world; leading the social media vision, creative direction and long-term platform strategy across a variety of global social media channels. We are looking for a creative thinker - someone who understands how to create moments, campaigns and storytelling that cut through the noise and drive genuine audience connection.

You will bring original thinking and an elevated creative point of view, with the confidence to champion bold ideas and push boundaries when appropriate. Working in the Marketing and Communications team, you will oversee campaign ideation, social media creative development and planning across platforms. While remaining hands-on with day-to-day execution, your focus will be setting strategy, leading creative direction and driving innovative social-first campaigns that feel authentic, culturally relevant and commercially impactful.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding and curiosity for culture, audience behaviour and evolving platform trends across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging digital ecosystems. You understand how to leverage platform tools, algorithms and insights to maximise engagement, but instinctively lead with creativity and cultural relevance over formulaic tactics. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are equally comfortable building long-term strategic campaigns as you are reacting quickly to real-time cultural moments and opportunities.

Fundamental to everything you do will be strong creative instinct, audience understanding and a passion for creating best-in-class social content that grows and engages global fan communities.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Lead the social media strategy and social creative direction across all channels for personal and commercial posts.
  • Develop innovative social campaigns, content concepts and storytelling opportunities that drive audience growth and engagement.
  • Create and oversee social campaign planning.
  • Partner closely with the Manager, Social Media, to own alongside them, day-to-day publishing and execution of social media campaigns and posts.
  • Drive creative integration across the social assets for brand partnerships and commercial campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal creative, production, partnerships and communications teams to deliver culturally relevant content.
  • Manage external agencies, creative partners and collaborators where required.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, audience behaviours and emerging technologies to evolve content strategy.
  • Use insights, analytics and audience data to optimise content performance and growth.
  • Balance long-term campaign planning with reactive real-time content opportunities.
  • Maintain oversight of social reputation, audience sentiment and community engagement.
  • Own reporting across social channels for internal stakeholders, as well as commercial partners.

Must Haves

  • Several years of experience across social media, creative strategy, digital marketing, art direction or social media integrated campaigns.
  • Experience working with high-profile talent or premium global brands with high profile ambassadors.
  • Strong portfolio of innovative social campaigns and culturally impactful content.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and evolving social platforms.
  • Highly creative with strong instincts for storytelling, visual direction and audience engagement.
  • Confidence to champion ideas and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of social trends, internet culture and platform behaviours.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced agency, entertainment, sport, fashion or brand environment.
  • Passionate about sport, fashion, entertainment and culture.
  • Discreet, diplomatic and comfortable operating around high-profile individuals and confidential projects.
