The predicted salary is between 20000 - 28000 £ per year.
You will be joining the Finishing Team of 10 people, which includes Rewinding, Packing, and Despatch. You will report to the Finishing Supervisor, who oversees the entire department.
As a Rewinder, your responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrating organizational skills consistently, especially when handling large volumes of labels to keep in order.
- Developing knowledge of rewinding techniques such as repeal, braille, and numbering.
- Identifying and working with different materials like sachets, PET liners, and glassine.
- Ensuring high precision in rewind jobs, paying attention to detail where every millimeter counts.
- Checking labels during the final stages and raising concerns about quality confidently and proactively.
- Collaborating with Packing & Despatch and Printers to maintain efficient production flow.
- Leading by example and adhering to health and safety standards.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting ideas for efficiency and innovation.
