JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- No Nights, No Weekends, No Bank Holidays
- 37.5hrs, Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 (Weekly Rotating)
- Starting total remuneration: £32.90 (salary & shift allowance)
- The successful candidate will join our production team, reporting to a Production Supervisor.
- Responsibilities include:
- Running multi-colour flexo presses
- Ensuring quality, efficiency, and good housekeeping
- Troubleshooting machinery or print quality issues
- Relaying production specifications and settings
- Achieving daily productivity targets
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Attention to detail and adherence to processes
- Collaborating across departments to meet OTIF standards
- Working with the Production Manager to improve quality and efficiency
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in flexographic printing, especially labels and packaging
- Experience with embellishments like rotary screen, hot foil, cold foil, embossing
- Experience with Nilpeter Servo Press, Mark Andy, MPS, or similar
- Team player with initiative and reliability
- High attention to detail and quality
- Organized and tidy presentation
- Problem-solving mindset with a positive attitude
- Effective communication skills across all levels
- Creative interest in printing and packaging industry
