- Setting up, operating and monitoring rewinding equipment in accordance with job specifications.
- Monitoring finished reels using AVT camera inspection equipment to ensure labels meet the required quality standards.
- Handling rolls of labels as they come off the rewinder, packing them into boxes and stacking finished goods safely and efficiently.
- Checking label quality, identifying defects and resolving or reporting issues using the Material Defect Report.
- Quarantining defective material and communicating issues to the Team Leader.
- Following all production procedures, SOPs and quality requirements.
- Maintaining excellent standards of housekeeping and cleanliness across the work area.
- Carrying out general equipment maintenance and ensuring machinery is kept in good working order.
- Operating and cleaning the core cutting machine when required.
- Operating the Wrapeel (Rewind 4) when required.
- Operating the Domino numbering machine when required.
- Operating the folding machine/Braille maker when required.
- Working closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure orders are completed On Time In Full (OTIF).
- Following all health and safety procedures and contributing to a safe working environment.
- Undertaking any additional reasonable duties requested by your Line Manager.
