As a Print Assistant in the Pre Press Team at Autajon Labels Royston, you will be part of an award-winning label printing company, established in 1984. We pride ourselves on developing high-end, top-quality labels for clients in the Cosmetics & Toiletries, Health & Nutrition, Drinks, and Pharma industries.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate your organisational skills by operating and maintaining equipment in the wet room, organising and signing-off job trolleys, and pre-empting ink top-ups and reel changes.
- Provide support to the Printers by setting up machines and covering breaks to ensure jobs continue running throughout the day.
- Develop your knowledge of the print presses, printing techniques, and machine functions.
- Use your keen eye for detail to spot errors in specifications and job bags, and show initiative to problem-solve.
- Work alongside the Studio Department and Printers to allow for an efficient production flow.
- Ensure excellent Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Influence our Continuous Improvement Culture and bring forward ideas for improved efficiencies and innovation.
