Responsibilities
- No Nights, No Weekends, No Bank Holidays
- 37.5hrs, Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 (Weekly Rotating)
- The successful candidate will be joining our production team, reporting into a Production Supervisor.
- Responsibilities will include running multi-colour flexo presses, responsibility for quality, efficiency and good housekeeping.
- Able to troubleshoot to solve issues with machinery or print quality.
- Relaying information through the Specification sheet on how jobs are produced and exactly what settings are required to repeat the process.
- Daily productivity responsibilities, ensuring that your schedule and targets are achieved.
- Being a team player with effective communication skills.
- Ensuring excellent attention to detail and following detailed processes and procedures.
- Working with all departments to ensure orders are complete On Time In Full (OTIF).
- Working with the Production Manager to continually improve quality, processes and production efficiencies.
Requirements
- Flexographic printing experience, particularly printing labels and packaging.
- Experience of embellishments such as rotary screen, hot foil, cold foil, and embossing.
- Experience of Nilpeter Servo Press, Mark Andy, MPS or similar.
- An enthusiasm to work as part of a team, but also be able to use your initiative to work independently.
- Someone who can maintain a high level of consistency and reliability, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- An appreciation and understanding that detail and quality is EVERYTHING when it comes to labels.
- Someone who takes pride in their presentation, demonstrating tidiness and organisational skills.
