As we prepare for the consolidation of multiple manufacturing operations into a single state-of-the-art facility, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Supply Chain Manager to join our Site Leadership Team. This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy during a critical phase of business transformation, driving improvements in customer service, operational performance and supply chain capability.

Job Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager role is a newly created senior leadership position on site with responsibility for the end-to-end supply chain, providing strategic and operational leadership across Demand Planning, Procurement, Planning, Logistics and Internal & External warehouse operations. The successful candidate will establish ownership of the order-to-delivery process, ensuring customer demand, material supply, production capacity and logistics operations are aligned to deliver outstanding customer service while optimising cost, inventory and operational performance. The role will be instrumental in developing robust Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, supporting site consolidation activities and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end supply chain from customer order through to final delivery.
  • Provide leadership across Procurement, Production Planning and Logistics teams.
  • Develop supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives and future growth plans.
  • Act as a key member of the Site Leadership Team.

Planning & Operational Performance

  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to balance demand, capacity and resources.
  • Oversee production planning and scheduling to maximise service and efficiency.
  • Manage inventory and raw material strategies to ensure continuity of supply while minimising working capital.
  • Drive improvements in service levels, forecasting accuracy and operational performance.

Logistics & Continuous Improvement

  • Optimise internal and external logistics operations, warehousing and transportation activities.
  • Identify and remove process inefficiencies, reducing lead times and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
  • Manage supply chain risks and ensure rapid resolution of operational challenges.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Commercial, Operations, Finance and Group Supply Chain teams.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide clear reporting and insight on supply chain performance, opportunities and risks.

About You

You will be an experienced supply chain leader with a strong background in manufacturing and a proven ability to drive operational improvements.

Essential

  • Significant experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Operations or Logistics leadership.
  • Strong understanding of demand planning, capacity analysis, procurement, inventory management, production planning and logistics.
  • Experience leading Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people leadership and stakeholder management capability.
  • Commercially focused with the ability to balance customer expectations and operational requirements.

Desirable

  • CPIM Certification.
  • Experience within packaging, print or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting business transformation or site consolidation projects.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced planning tools.
