Finance Manager

Simply Cartons and Simply Luxe are part of a growing packaging group, delivering high‑quality and sustainable packaging solutions for premium and luxury brands.

Autajon Labels Royston, established in 1984 and also integrated into the Autajon Group in 2023, is an award‑winning label manufacturer serving major brands in Cosmetics, Health & Nutrition, Drinks, and Pharma.

Located near Cambridge, its 70‑person team combines craftsmanship, advanced printing technologies, and a firm focus on sustainability to create impactful, premium labels.

Join Autajon Group, a leading international packaging manufacturer, as Financial Manager UK. In this key leadership role, you will take full ownership of the finance function for our UK operations, covering both Royston and Simply sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of five finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the full spectrum of financial management: P&L, Balance Sheet, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring the integrity and reliability of financial information.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, tax regulations, and audit requirements, maintaining strong governance and internal controls.
• Drive performance and profitability through cost control, CapEx management, and insightful financial analysis.
• Act as a key business partner, supporting operational and commercial teams to enhance efficiency and deliver sustainable growth.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, including the planned 2026 site relocation (JCT 26) and other Group transformation projects.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
• 5 years’ experience in finance management within manufacturing.
• Proven track record in team leadership and multi‑entity reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and business acumen.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
