Simply Luxe offers tailor-made luxury packaging solutions. Both sites are based in Nottingham, UK, with a total workforce of around 200 employees, and are committed to innovation, quality, and a people-focused culture, offering an environment where HR can make a real impact.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting hierarchically to the Site Director and functionally to the Group HR Director, you will be responsible for all Human Resources activities across both Simply Cartons and Simply Luxe sites in the UK.
- You will ensure alignment with group HR policies while adapting them to local legislation and the specific needs of the sites.
- Act as the primary HR contact for managers and employees in the UK.
- Oversee and coordinate all HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, disciplinary procedures, etc.).
- Manage a small HR team: 1 HR Adviser and 1 part-time Payroll Specialist.
- Support managers in building engagement, developing teams, promoting company culture, and reviewing team structures to create effective and high-performing organizations.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and best HR practices.
- Contribute to Group HR projects and initiatives (training, HRIS, talent management, mobility, etc.).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Proven HR generalist experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a hands-on and pragmatic approach.
- Ability to work autonomously while being part of an international HR network.
