Your new role:
Within Fund Services, Technology Services is accountable for managing and maintaining the technology infrastructure and activities for the Fund.
We are building our in-house team in the London office, where a key part this new seat will provide support to our Investments Team across Calypso, Aladdin, Bloomberg and Refinitiv, and provide mentoring and guidance to fellow Investment Application Support Team members, including:
- Pro-actively monitor critical functional task monitoring e.g., schedule tasks, interface files (real-time and batch)
- Monitor start and end of day tasks (cashflows, market data etc)
- User maintenance (new, amend and delete access, roles, permissions)
- Coordinate services – patching (hotfixes, monthly releases) and change requests and product enhancements
- Perform/coordinate regression and user acceptance testing of vendor fixes.
- Investigate incidents to determine root cause and raise, follow up and communicate through to resolution to business and technology stakeholders.
- Take a lead role in liaising with other technology teams / partners in incident management across the end-to-end technology ecosystems.
- Work with other support functions to ensure adequate platform support coverage, synchronisation of support rosters, identification and implementation of new frameworks and processes.
- Co-ordinating incidents and requests to third party vendors and other support functions
- Provide an additional level of support and escalation for the Investment and Investment Operations on incidents and problems with the Fund\’s shared technology services.
This role is based on-site at London King\’s Cross Estate, one of the core assets of the Fund\’s global portfolio, with a hybrid work schedule.
What you\’ll need

The role does require significant experience and expert knowledge across applications, in addition to;
- Product knowledge of financial instruments (MM Money Markets, (FI) Fixed Interest & (IR) Interest Rate, FX, Futures, Derivatives (Options & Swaps), OTC & Structured Products, Bonds & REPO\’s, CFD\’s, Asset Backed Securities)
- Demonstrated business system analysis and/or business support experience across front to back office on trading platforms such as Calypso, Aladdin, Bloomberg and Refinitiv.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing process, system and data capabilities within capital markets / treasury management and operations.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in high pressure, complex BAU environments.
- Operational support experience in across Middle Office, Trade Support / Bookings, Corporate Actions, Settlements & Confirmations, Payments, Reconciliations, Regulatory Reporting, and Initial Margin
