The AustralianSuper 2026 Intern Program is an exciting opportunity to build a career with a growing global investor. Commencing in June 2026, you will be exposed to a variety of our teams, developing the technology capabilities and skills to help members achieve the best possible outcomes in retirement. Joining for 8 weeks from June to August, Technology interns will work with our technology teams on a variety of interesting and challenging business problems, gaining meaningful insights into how we deliver outstanding outcomes for members.

Supporting the Fund's data, information, and telecommunications systems, on a range of BAU activities, you will also form views and present findings back to colleagues and leaders on real-life projects. Technology interns in London can expect to work on projects with one or more of the following functions; Cloud Engineering, Cyber Security, Modern Workplace Engineering, API / Integration Development, Data Engineering and AI. This role is based at our office at London King's Cross Estate, one of our marquee assets in AustralianSuper's global portfolio, with a hybrid work schedule. Following the successful completion of the Intern Program, we intend to offer Graduate placement opportunities commencing in September 2027.

What you'll need:

  • Be in your final or penultimate year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
  • Be able to join the Intern Program for 8 weeks from June 2026 to August 2026
  • Be able to commence full time employment commencing September Graduate Program
  • Be a British citizen / Irish citizen or non-UK citizen with the ongoing right to work in the UK

Who you are (degree disciplines, desirable skills & experience):

  • Degrees (examples): Computer Science, Automation, AI, Robotics, Data Science/Analytics, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Systems (or related)
  • Desirable experience: coding projects, hackathons, GitHub portfolio, internships, tech society leadership, part-time/volunteering in tech support
  • Desirable skills: one programming language (e.g., Python/Java), analytical problem-solving, teamwork, communication, resilience/adaptability
