About the role: We are seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our UK Commercial Development team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the commercial and financial performance of the UK business with a particular focus on Ireland, Europe, Wholesale and On Premise channels. The role is based in our London Bridge office. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Development, this role goes beyond reporting, focusing on partnering with the Sales and Operations teams to develop models and provide insights that support trading decisions. You will take ownership of performance reporting and analysis, but your impact will come through building commercial models, delivering scenario planning, and integrating insights into forecasting and decisionāmaking processes.
What youāll do: In this role you will deliver insights and analysis that directly shape commercial outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with Sales and Operations to deliver insights and analysis on customer and product profitability, trading terms, promotions, and range decisions
- Developing robust commercial models, including scenario planning, to evaluate agreements and guide decisionāmaking
- Supporting the monthāend commercial performance cycle through the preparation and sharing of monthly results and performance reporting packs with clear analysis, commentary and recommendations
- Integrating commercial insights into forecasting and the Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) process
- Tracking and validating customer rebates and funding claims, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contracts
- Supporting the budgeting and planning cycle through commercial analysis, reporting and performance tracking
- Provide adāhoc commercial and financial analysis to support business initiatives and decisionāmaking
- Contribute to improving commercial reporting, insight, and governance across the Ireland, Europe, Wholesale and On Premise channels
What youāll bring: We are looking for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys digging into data to tell the story and guide smarter decisions. To succeed, you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- PartāQualified or Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with 2ā4 years' experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or financial analysis (FMCG/retail preferred)
- Strong modelling and advanced Excel skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable partnering with stakeholders across the business
- Collaborative, proactive approach with the ability to work across time zones and markets
