About Us

Australian Vintage (AV) is an ASX-listed, B Corp certified business and one of the wine industry’s most exciting growth stories. We have world-class vineyards, wineries and production capabilities across key global markets and a genuine commitment to sustainability with a Net Zero 2040 target. But what really sets us apart is our people and the culture they’ve built. We’re ambitious, collaborative and we move fast. You’ll join a business that’s large enough to own household brands, yet entrepreneurial enough for your ideas to have real impact. You’ll have the autonomy to shape strategy, the backing to launch innovation, the opportunity to influence major UK retailers and the chance to leave your mark on brands enjoyed by millions around the world.

Our Brands

Meet some of our brands: McGuigan, Australia’s most awarded wine brand and #1 bottled red in its price range; MadFish, one of Australia’s most loved premium Western Australian labels; Poco Vino, our newest challenger brand reinventing how people enjoy wine through beautifully designed mini bottles; and many more, including exclusive partnerships with internationally recognised brands like Graham Norton Wines.

About the role

This is a big job, and a genuinely exciting one. Based at our London Bridge office with hybrid flexibility, you’ll join the UK Leadership Team, partner closely with the Head of Sales and report directly to the Global CMO, playing a key role in shaping strategy and driving growth across one of our most important international markets. You’ll directly lead Brand and Shopper, with Category reporting in on a dotted line, bringing together commercial strategy, retailer partnerships, consumer insight and brand building to unlock real growth. This isn’t a role where marketing sits apart from the business. You’ll be right in the middle of it, shaping portfolio direction, influencing investment decisions and making things happen.

  • You’ll lead Commercial marketing strategy across the UK & Europe
  • A portfolio of market-leading and challenger wine brands
  • Portfolio growth through innovation, premiumisation and category strategy
  • Joint Business Planning with major retail partners including Tesco and Sainsbury’s
  • Brand, Shopper Marketing and Innovation
  • Annual planning, investment and marketing performance
  • Cross‑functional leadership across Sales, Finance and Supply Chain
  • Long‑term commercial growth planning as part of the UK Leadership Team

You’ll bring:

  • Proven commercial marketing leadership within FMCG or a consumer goods business
  • Strong commercial, customer and category thinking
  • A successful track record of launching innovation and driving growth
  • Experience partnering with major retail customers
  • Inspirational leadership with the ability to build and develop high‑performing teams
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • A strategic mindset balanced with a hands‑on approach to execution
