About the role: We are seeking a Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving the commercial and financial performance of our UK business, with a particular focus on Ireland, Europe, and the Indies/On Trade channels. The role is based in our London Bridge office. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Development, this role goes beyond reporting, focusing on partnering with sales and operations, developing models, and providing insights that shape strategy and performance outcomes. You will take ownership of management reporting packs and analysis, but your impact will come through building commercial models, delivering scenario planning, and integrating insights into forecasting and decision‑making processes.
What you’ll do:
- Partnering with sales and operations to deliver insights on customer and product profitability
- Developing robust financial models, including scenario planning, to evaluate agreements and guide decision‑making
- Preparing and sharing monthly performance reporting packs with clear analysis and recommendations
- Integrating commercial insights into forecasting and the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
- Tracking and validating customer rebates and funding claims, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contracts
- Providing ad‑hoc commercial analysis to support strategic initiatives and new opportunities
- Identifying and implementing improvements in reporting, analytics, and processes to enhance efficiency
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Part‑Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with 2–3 years of commercial and financial analysis experience in FMCG or retail
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders
- Collaborative, proactive approach with the ability to work across time zones and markets
