About the role:
As our Production & Supply Chain Planner, you'll play an important role in keeping our UK operation moving, making sure we have the right products, packaging and stock available to meet customer demand.
You'll take ownership of production planning and inventory, work closely with suppliers and logistics partners, and help make sure finished goods get where they need to be, when they need to be. You'll also be spotting potential supply issues early, working through problems and finding practical solutions before they impact our customers.
Working across Operations, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Quality, you'll have plenty of opportunities to build relationships across the business and make a real impact on how we plan and manage our supply chain.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based at our London Bridge office. It suits someone who enjoys working with data and numbers but also likes being close to the action, solving problems and making things happen.
What you’ll do:
- Building and managing production schedules, balancing demand, capacity and inventory to ensure we have the right stock available
- Managing raw material and packaging requirements, working closely with suppliers to ensure availability and resolve issues
- Coordinating freight and third-party logistics to ensure finished goods reach customers and distributors on time and in full
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels and identifying opportunities to reduce excess and obsolete stock
- Working with Sales & Marketing to plan for promotions, new launches and changes in demand
- Identifying supply risks and opportunities to improve planning processes, reduce costs and waste, and support our sustainability goals
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in production planning, supply chain, inventory management or a similar role
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and changing requirements
- Confident working with data, numbers and ERP systems, with strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to take ownership and follow things through
- Experience working in FMCG, food and beverage, manufacturing or a similar fast-paced environment would be advantageous
