About the role

We’re currently seeking a Session Leader to join our team at the FremantleDonor Centre. Reporting to the Donor Centre Manager, you’ll provide operational oversight to ensure that the end-to-end donation experience runs efficiently with no compromise on quality or safety.

As a Session Leader, you’ll provide direction, inspiration and support for your team to achieve common goals and foster team effectiveness, as well as managing tough issues with respect. You’ll value self-awareness and reflect on your own strengths and areas for development, making you an even stronger leader. A day in the centre could see you:

  • Deliver a supportive and safe experience to our amazing donors
  • Develop and coach teams
  • Physically insert and remove needles to collect donations
  • Act as the first point of contact for any complex donor assessments
  • Provide clinical oversight to team to ensure phlebotomy success
  • Show pride in upholding our high safety and quality standards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build a warm connection with donors.
  • Collaborative nature with a strong sense of teamwork.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong Leadership experience with the ability to coach and provide performance feedback.
  • Clinical experience is an advantage, but not essential.
