Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) is the owner and developer of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth’s Naval Shipbuilding Plan. ANI is responsible for designing, constructing and managing the shipyard infrastructure, including the new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard to support the AUKUS program, as well as the operating and maintaining common use facilities.

There is an opportunity for an Administration Officer to join ANI’s Operations team in our Osborne office. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will assist with administrative duties, primarily within the Facilities and Operations department, and will also provide coverage during periods of leave.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide administrative support to the Osborne team.
  • Participate in and support local onboarding procedures.
  • Manage supplies, meeting and office spaces.
  • Perform routine security tasks based on ANI’s policies, standards and procedures.
  • Support the team in producing high quality presentations, reports and other collateral.

About you:

You will have good office administration skills, and an understanding of a variety of documentation production methods. Prior experience in office administration and the use of systems to manage multiple tasks would be an advantage. This position will suit a person with good interpersonal skills, initiative and team focus who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting. The successful applicant will be computer literate and willing to be flexible in undertaking a range of tasks in a collaborative team environment. This role may also suit someone who is looking to start a career in administration.
