About the opportunity

Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our MR or Van Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers and communities day‑in, day‑out. Please note that these are permanent part‑time roles working 20 hours a week, 4 hours per day Mon‑Fri, 2pm to 6pm.

  • Safely loading your truck with freight for your pick‑ups
  • Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
  • Driving our modern trucks between our facility and customers for deliveries and pick‑ups
  • Returning to our operational centres to unload pick‑ups

About you

You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community. You’ll also need to:

  • Hold a relevant C Class manual or MR manual vehicle licence
  • Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck weighing up to 30kg
  • Be safety‑focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
  • Have a customer‑centric mindset and effective communication skills
  • Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kg or less
  • Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a driving assessment, pre‑employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks
