About the role
- Safely hand loading your truck with freight for your deliveries at the facility
- Enjoy truck driving, physical fitness and customer service
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
- Driving our MR trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and adhoc pick‑ups
- Returning to our operational centres to unload pick‑ups
- Stay fit while you work! Get your steps in - 15,000‑20,000 steps per day
- This role involves a high level of physical activity, including scanning parcels ranging from 1kg to 30kg, manually loading your truck, and handling returns
About you
- You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy and interacting with others
- You’re passionate about making a difference in the community
- You’ll need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Hold a medium rigid vehicle licence
- Be able to drive manual transmission trucks
- Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of various shapes, sizes and weights
- Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
- Have a customer‑centric mindset and effective communication skills
- Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kg or less
- Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre‑employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks
