About the Role
- Safely hand‑loading your truck with freight for your deliveries at the facility
- Great if you enjoy truck driving, physical fitness and customer service
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
- Driving our MR trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and ad‑hoc pick‑ups
- Returning to our operational centres to unload pick‑ups
Physical Activity Requirements
Get your steps in – 15,000‑20,000 steps per day. This role involves a high level of physical activity. You’ll be scanning parcels ranging from 1kg to 30kg, manually loading your truck, hopping in and out of the truck all day, delivering parcels, and handling returns. We’ll help keep you fit – and we’ll pay you for it!
About You
You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community. If you are a truck driver, a courier driver, a delivery driver or you are physically fit and just want to get into the transport industry, this job is for you.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Hold a medium rigid vehicle licence
- Be able to drive manual transmission trucks
- Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck
- Be safety‑focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
- Have a customer‑centric mindset and effective communication skills
- Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kg or less
- Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre‑employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks
