STUDIO MANAGER
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Studio Manager to join our client\’s dynamic team within a world-renowned architecture and design practice. This is a permanent, full-time role based in their SE1 office. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months’ experience in a studio management role and possess excellent task prioritisation skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global firm specialising in architecture, urbanism, masterplanning, sustainable design, and associated disciplines such as interior design, landscape architecture, town planning, and regeneration. You will be at the heart of our daily operations, supporting a diverse international team and contributing to the smooth running of our creative studio.
STUDIO MANAGER ROLE:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the studio to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication across teams
- Managing scheduling, resource allocation and space planning within the studio
- Prioritising and organising daily tasks to consistently meet deadlines and client expectations
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate project progress and studio needs
- Supporting financial administration, including invoicing, purchase orders and budget tracking
- Facilitating office maintenance, supplies procurement and health and safety compliance
- Acting as the primary point of contact for studio-related enquiries and liaising with senior management
- Assisting with onboarding and orientation of new team members
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance studio efficiency and culture
STUDIO MANAGER ESSENTIALS:
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in a studio management or similar role
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working within a diverse international team
- Proactive and solution-focused approach to daily challenges
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage competing demands
- Familiarity with architecture or design studio environments is highly desirable
- Proficient with standard office software and project management tools
