We’re recruiting for an opportunity within a purpose‑driven membership organisation supporting professionals across the healthcare sector. This varied role sits within a collaborative and forward‑thinking team, offering the chance to contribute to operations, member experience and ongoing development initiatives. Responsibilities
- Coordinating governance activities by preparing papers for DBOC, Appraisal Committee, ROAG and ISCAS meetings and supporting wider organisational governance standards.
- Supporting the Responsible Officer across fitness to practise matters, complaints and GMC ELA requirements, including meeting attendance, documentation and action planning.
- Managing compliance processes and policy reviews to ensure alignment with GMC, NHSE and organisational regulatory requirements.
- Liaising with the Revalidation Manager to triage queries, coordinate NHSE reporting and support operational decision making.
- Monitoring and supporting IDrF Appraisers, including performance oversight, addressing concerns and guiding new appraisers through training and probation.
- Providing strategic oversight of appraisal and revalidation functions, ensuring high‑quality delivery and compliance with governance standards.
- Supporting the Director of Professional Development by contributing to frameworks, reporting, guidance, leadership initiatives and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Demonstrating experience managing and supporting a team, overseeing workload allocation and performance.
- Coordinating governance, regulatory or compliance processes to support organisational requirements.
- Supporting appraisal, revalidation and professional development programmes.
- Preparing papers, reports and operational documentation to a high standard.
- Applying strong organisational skills to manage multiple workstreams effectively.
- Communicating clearly and confidently in both written and verbal formats.
- Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders while using Microsoft Office and digital systems confidently.
