PAYROLL AND HR ASSISTANT
Our client (a foundation of independent schools) is looking for a Proactive and detail-oriented Payroll and HR Assistant to join our team. This is a key support role working across both payroll and HR functions. The successful candidate will play a vital part in the smooth running of day-to-day operations and will also contribute to an exciting systems migration project. This opportunity will be temporary at first, with a chance to go permanent.

This is a key support role working across both payroll and HR functions. The successful candidate will play a vital part in the smooth running of day-to-day operations and will also contribute to an exciting systems migration project. PAYROLL AND HR ASSISTANT ROLE:
- Processing end-to-end monthly payroll using Cintra and Breathe
- Inputting and verifying payroll data in line with regulations and deadlines
- Liaising with payroll providers and responding to employee payroll queries
- Supporting pension enrolments and liaising with external benefits providers
- Maintaining payroll records and preparing reports for management
- Supporting onboarding, offboarding and maintaining accurate HR records
- Assisting with HR queries, documentation and compliance with employment law
- Updating and managing data in the current HRIS system
- Assisting with data migration to new HR and payroll platforms
- Testing new systems, providing feedback and supporting communications
- Having 12 months’ experience in a payroll or HR administration role
- Demonstrating strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word
- Showing excellent attention to detail, time management and problem-solving
- Working with confidentiality, discretion and professionalism
- Using Cintra and BreatheHR with confidence
- Bringing familiarity with DataPlan, Every HR or TPS as an advantage
- Being willing to complete a DBS check
