Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Business Development Assistant to support income generation and partnership growth. The role involves coordinating events, supporting business development activities, managing stakeholder communications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely follow-up of opportunities. Role Responsibilities:
- Supporting business development activities through prospecting, follow-up communications and maintenance of sales pipelines and prospect databases.
- Coordinating industry events, roadshows and presentations, including logistics, materials, calendars and stakeholder engagement.
- Supporting training and apprenticeship programmes through administration, bookings, invoicing, shared inbox management and customer enquiries.
- Maintaining Salesforce CRM records, ensuring accurate contact, organisation and activity data.
- Managing team invoicing processes, tracking payments and supporting credit control activities.
- Managing shared business inboxes, responding to enquiries and allocating actions to appropriate stakeholders.
- Creating and maintaining business development, training and charity collateral, including brochures, presentations, letters and speeches.
- Providing general administrative and project support, maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Essentials:
- Utilising Salesforce experience.
- Creating and delivering presentations.
- Demonstrating public speaking experience.
- Demonstrating integrity by modelling the Charity's values and ethical standards.
- Advocating and promoting the vision, mission and strategic goals of the Electrical Industries Charity.
- Supporting business development, sales and income-generation activities.
- Handling follow-up calls, prospecting and maintaining ongoing business relationships.
