Working across a portfolio of growing client businesses, this role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to finance transformation projects, process improvement initiatives, and commercial finance support within fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments. Working closely alongside an experienced CFO, you will receive ongoing mentorship, strategic guidance, and hands-on support throughout the assignment. This role would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in evolving environments, and is excited by the opportunity to create structure and efficiency where it currently does not exist. This job is initially office-based five days per week.

FINANCE MANAGER ROLE:

  • Partner closely with operational and sales teams to provide commercially focused financial insight and support pricing decisions
  • Establish robust financial controls, governance procedures, and reporting frameworks
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and wider finance operations as required
  • Work collaboratively with senior finance leadership and wider stakeholders to drive finance transformation initiatives
  • Operate confidently within businesses where processes are still developing, helping bring structure, organisation, and efficiency

WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT:

  • Direct mentorship and support from an experienced CFO
  • Hands-on exposure to finance transformation, automation, commercial finance, and operational improvement
  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial working environments within growing businesses

  • Comfortable working within ambiguity and building processes where limited structure currently exists
  • Enthusiastic about automation, AI tools, and modern approaches to finance operations
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships across finance and non-finance teams
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
