DESIGN TEAM ASSISTANT ROLE:
- Providing day-to-day practical support to designers and pattern cutters
- Assisting with preparation for meetings, including coordinating set-up and supporting fittings
- Supporting archive management, including organising and maintaining storage systems
- Assisting with coordinating and handling deliveries and shipments of samples and materials
- Supporting the organisation and upkeep of the studio and office environment
- Assisting with meeting set-up and general team coordination
- Supporting the maintenance of shared facilities and equipment
- Assisting with managing office supplies, stationery and consumables
- Helping to coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries, shipments and couriers
- Providing practical support for team members visiting on business trips
DESIGN TEAM ASSISTANT ESSENTIALS:
- Demonstrating a minimum of one year's office-based experience
- Showing a strong interest in the fashion or design industry
- Utilising strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders through strong verbal and written communication skills
- Maintaining a friendly, approachable and helpful demeanour
- Building positive working relationships through a collaborative and customer-focused approach
