This hands-on role will see you managing inbound freight, customs processes and warehouse operations, while acting as the key link between suppliers, logistics partners and internal teams. Perfect for a commercially minded logistics professional, you'll play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, solving operational challenges and supporting the business as it continues its exciting growth journey.
LOGISTICS LEAD ROLE:
- Leading end-to-end inbound logistics, coordinating suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and 3PL providers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
- Owning customs compliance and product classification, including HS codes, country of origin, customs documentation and data accuracy.
- Leading 3PL warehouse relationships, managing operational priorities, service levels, escalations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Managing logistics costs and financial processes, including freight and warehouse invoices, reprocessing fees, credit notes and supply chain chargebacks.
- Overseeing claims for lost or damaged goods, investigating and resolving issues with suppliers, carriers and warehouse teams.
- Owning month-end logistics reporting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across multiple channels and systems.
- Driving continuous improvement across logistics operations, focusing on service, cost, compliance and operational efficiency.
LOGISTICS LEAD ESSENTIALS:
- Demonstrating 3-5 years' logistics experience, preferably within the fashion retail industry.
- Utilising Mintsoft or other ERP systems to support logistics operations.
- Working confidently with data and Excel to generate insights and improve processes.
- Applying knowledge of Incoterms, commercial invoicing, trade compliance requirements and international shipping.
- Demonstrating resilience and adaptability within a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Maintaining strong organisation, attention to detail and time management skills.
- Communicating proactively and collaborating effectively across teams to deliver solutions.
