Working closely with Claims Adjusters and Managers, you'll provide essential administrative support while gaining valuable exposure to a wide range of claims and operational processes. ROLE:
- Supporting the Claims team in delivering an effective claims service in line with service level agreements, claims handling procedures and regulatory standards
- Assisting with ongoing data cleansing and records management processes
- Processing, filing and logging invoices accurately and within agreed team standards
- Carrying out peer reviews and quality checks alongside other members of the Claims team
- Creating new claim files and preparing acknowledgement correspondence
- Providing administrative support to Claims Adjusters on active claims matters
- Assisting Claims Managers with ad hoc administrative tasks and projects as required
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation across claims activities
- Contributing to the smooth running of the department through effective organisation and attention to detail
ESSENTIALS:
- Demonstrating previous administration experience
- Applying insurance experience where beneficial, while building knowledge where experience is limited
- Developing a career within insurance and claims
- Using Microsoft Office applications effectively, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Bringing a positive, proactive and eager-to-learn attitude
- Working collaboratively as part of a team
- Applying an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Working accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrating a strong interest in developing a career within the insurance sector in operations and claims management
