The Client: Our client is a top UK law firm that works with household names in the UK and internationally. With Insurance a core sector focus, the firm supports its clients with expertise across a range of areas including professional indemnity, D&O, political risk, property and cyber.

The role: The London team is recruiting for a Senior Associate to advise on a broad range of insurance coverage and liability defence matters, working with multiple partners on complex, often international disputes. You will have an opportunity to work across the following areas:

  • D&O and financial lines
  • Cyber and Technology risks
  • Credit and political risk, political violence
  • Property damage
  • Reinsurance
  • Fraud
  • Professional indemnity (including solicitors, accountants, brokers and construction professionals)
  • Specialty lines, including specie, personal accident, and accident & health

The Person: You will ideally be 5+PQE with a strong understanding of the London insurance market and experience of working on complex and high-value matters. You should be confident in advising on policy interpretation, coverage disputes, liability defense, subrogation, and dispute resolution strategy.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a collaborative team, advising the market's leading insurers, reinsurers, Lloyd's syndicates and MGAs. You will take ownership of your work, build relationships with key clients, and play a significant role in the growth of the practice.
