Our client is an in-house law firm that provides legal services to its policyholders and has extensive experience of dealing with often complex, high value claims.
In this role, you will manage your own caseload of professional indemnity claims across a range of professionals. Working under the guidance of the Head of Legal Practice in litigating complex and high-exposure cases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting legal research as needed and supervising delegated research projects for Paralegals and Legal Secretaries.
- Drafting interim motions, briefs, disclosure requests, and other court documents independently.
Experience in insurance litigation is highly desired. Experience with professional indemnity and financial risks cases is preferred. Strong persuasive writing and oral advocacy skills are essential, along with a desire to develop effective trial skills as litigation complexity increases.
