Technical Product Manager – DEX Protocol & Trading Infrastructure

Responsibilities

Drive Enhancements to Protocol & Infrastructure

• Lead development efforts to improve DEX architecture and underlying trading systems.
• Focus on delivering ultra-low latency, high reliability, and systems capable of handling institutional clients.
• Ensure the infrastructure scales effectively and meets rigorous security standards.

Define and Communicate Product Vision

• Develop and present a clear vision for the product suite, aligning with market opportunities and business goals.
• Conduct market research, identifying trends and areas where the product can stand out or solve a key challenge.

Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as the bridge between engineering, business, and design teams to deliver cohesive, well-planned solutions.
• Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring both deadlines and quality benchmarks are met.

Take a User-Focused Approach

• Gather feedback from end users, clients, and internal stakeholders to refine and enhance the products.
• Translate feedback into practical, actionable technical requirements.

Integrate AI and Stay Ahead of Technology

• Stay current on the latest advancements in both DeFi and AI, identifying where those fields intersect.
• Collaborate with technical teams on using AI models or tools to create unique, competitive capabilities (where relevant).

Mitigate Risks, Ensure Compliance

• Proactively identify potential risks—whether technical, regulatory, or operational—and create plans to address them.
• Work closely with compliance teams to ensure the product meets all necessary legal and industry standards.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Solid experience working as a Technical Product Manager, ideally in DeFi, blockchain, or trading systems.
• Hands-on technical background, with expertise in areas like protocol design, low-latency systems, or order books.
• Comprehensive understanding of blockchain technologies, including smart contracts and platforms like Ethereum or Solana.
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols such as decentralized exchanges, lending platforms, or other relevant ecosystems.
• Adept at balancing the technical details needed to work with engineering teams with the broader product strategy.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Being an active or heavy user of DeFi tools and protocols would be a plus. Experience with AI technologies is also a welcome addition.
