Providing a comprehensive range of accounting, taxation, and business advisory services, the firm places a strong emphasis on long‑term client relationships, helping businesses and individuals effectively manage their finances and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships in accordance with relevant UK accounting standards, including FRS 102 and FRS 105.
- Assist with the preparation of Corporation Tax computations and returns.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, and support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
- Undertake bookkeeping duties and maintain accurate accounting records using leading software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries, request information, and provide ongoing support.
- Work closely with senior accountants and managers to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Assist with the preparation of personal tax returns where required.
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to provide additional support.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice (ideally 2+ years).
- AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Strong working knowledge of UK accounting standards and practical exposure to Corporation Tax, VAT, and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive, communicative approach.
