Are you a Management Accountant in practice looking to specialise in Financial Services clients at a Top 30 firm in London? Our client is a Top 30 firm known for their proactive and driven approach, close-knit teams and vibrant social events. As the largest single office accountancy firm in the UK, the firm is comprised of various specialised teams, led by home-grown, experienced partners.
Management Accountant responsibilities will include:
- Managing a growing portfolio of financial services clients
- Prepare management accounts and statutory financial reports, including consolidated accounts
- Prepare/review VAT returns, including understanding of partial exemption rules
- Supervising and reviewing work of more junior staff
- Support Managers with client pitches and meetings
As a Management Accountant you will be/have:
- ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Over 18 months’ post-qualified experience of reviewing management accounts and complex bookkeeping assignments
- The first point of contact for a portfolio of management accounts clients
- Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff
- FCA client exposure desirable, but not essential
