Are you a Corporate Finance Manager ready to make the move to Associate Director? Or are you a Corporate Finance Associate Director ready to move to a firm that has an exciting future growth plan? If so, this could be the role for you!

Our client is rapidly expanding their Corporate Finance M&A team in Manchester. Due to strong deals in 2024 and a good forward pipeline for the remainder of 2025, they are looking for an experienced corporate financier that can hit the ground running.

The firm is sector agnostic with deal values from 10-100m and both buy and sell side. You will be supporting financial investors, PE and other funders. You will also be helping develop new client relationships by participating in networking events and business development activities alongside deal origination initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing deals, working with a number of substantial firms and Private Equity funds.
  • Project managing transactions to ensure the deal processes are fulfilled and lead meetings with the support of junior team members.
  • Undertaking detailed research on companies, associated sectors and identifying potential transactions and potential investors/buyers/sellers.
  • Responsibility for project risk, issues and billing/cost recovery.
  • Overseeing the production of deal documentation including IMs, Teasers, Buyer Research packs etc.

As the successful candidate you will be expected to have:

  • Worked in Corporate Finance for at least 5 years.
  • Strong ability to interpret and present outputs from financial models to support the provision of commercial advice.
  • An industry relevant qualification e.g. ACA. However, exceptions can be made for candidates with significant experience.
