Responsibilities
- Manage a complex portfolio of Far East clients, acting as the primary point of contact and building long-term relationships.
- Coordinate international group audits and liaise effectively with overseas component auditors across different time zones.
- Work closely with Partners to support the growth and development of the firm's Far East client base.
- Plan, monitor, and deliver audit assignments from planning to completion within agreed deadlines and targets.
- Proactively monitor work-in-progress (WIP), billing, and recoverability to ensure portfolio profitability.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional audit, tax, and advisory services to enhance client service delivery.
As an Audit Manager - Mandarin Speaking you will:
- Bring full fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) alongside professional ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI, or ACCA qualification.
- Demonstrate solid technical audit, accounting, and compliance knowledge with proven experience managing complex engagements.
- Build strong stakeholder management relationships and navigate cross-border business cultures with ease.
- Exhibit strong business acumen, commercial awareness, and a leadership style that inspires and develops junior team members.
- Ensure all files are completed to a high standard for Partner and Responsible Individual (RI) review.
