As an Audit Senior you will:
- Plan, supervise, and execute audit fieldwork for a diverse portfolio of clients with turnovers up to £250 million, including specialist sectors such as pensions, charities, schools, and solicitors.
- Prepare draft statutory and consolidated accounts under FRS102, as well as accounts for audit-exempt limited companies, partnerships, and LLPs.
- Supervise and support junior trainees with technical accounting and auditing queries, ensuring all engagements are completed within budget and to strict deadlines.
- Draft management recommendations upon the completion of audit fieldwork and prepare responses for group reporting requirements where the firm acts as the component auditor.
- Prepare draft corporation tax computations as part of the overall client service delivery.
As the successful candidate you will:
- Possess at least 2.5 years of experience gained within an accountancy practice of a similar or larger size, with consistent exposure to audit engagements.
- Hold or be imminently sitting final examinations for a professional qualification (ACA or ACCA).
- Demonstrate the ability to manage the end-to-end audit process—including complex, non‑straightforward records—with minimal guidance from managers.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships with both clients and internal team members.
