Now acting as a premier advisor to wealthy families, PE-backed entities, and large commercial groups in sectors like waste management, leisure, and transport, the firm is currently scaling its team to meet a surge in high-value work. They are committed to providing a modern, open-plan work environment and are in the process of securing new, fit-for-purpose premises in Stamford to accommodate their goal of hiring 50 additional staff over the coming years.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio, including large-scale corporate groups with turnovers exceeding £100M.
  • Act as a "fractional FD" for key clients, providing robust financial reporting and strategic insights that go beyond standard compliance.
  • Support high-stakes corporate transactions, such as advising on 9-figure sales and managing reporting requirements for US-based Private Equity firms.
  • Work closely with the tax department to deliver integrated solutions for complex LLP structures and wealthy family trusts.
  • Manage client relationships directly, serving as the first point of contact for technical accounting queries and business advice.
  • Oversee and mentor junior team members, ensuring high standards of technical accuracy and efficiency across the accounts team.

As an Accounts Senior you will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience within a public practice environment.
  • Demonstrate exceptional technical accounting skills and the ability to handle complex financial statements.
  • Possess a commercial mindset, with the ability to identify tax planning opportunities or business efficiencies for clients.
