Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a varied portfolio of individuals, partnerships, and Trusts.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, Income & Expenditure accounts, and statutory compliance documentation accurately and within set budgets.
  • Execute tax planning strategies including dividend planning for company directors and proactive estate/trust compliance.
  • Handle tax compliance administration, including checking statements of account, PAYE codes, and resolving direct client tax inquiries.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, serving as a key point of contact for day-to-day tax advice.
  • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members to support their professional growth.

As a Tax Accountant you will:

  • Take ownership of a dedicated client portfolio while expanding your technical expertise across both personal and corporate tax matters.
  • Identify operational efficiencies and process improvements to streamline tax delivery across the department.
  • Work collaboratively with senior leadership to contribute to business development and practice growth initiatives.
