Responsibilities

  • Lead client audit assignments from the initial planning stages through to final file completion, ensuring all work meets UK auditing standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and review the daily technical output of junior team members both on-site at client premises and in the office.
  • Manage a balanced, well-rounded workload split approximately between 70% corporate audit delivery and 30% statutory accounts preparation.
  • Prepare statutory financial accounts for a diverse portfolio of growing SMEs under FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 105 reporting frameworks.
  • Act as a trusted corporate point of contact, liaising directly with business owners and management teams with turnovers scaling up to £12 million.
  • Identify, evaluate, and communicate critical audit findings and strategic financial recommendations directly to internal stakeholders and clients.
