Responsibilities
- Manage a substantial portfolio of corporate and not-for-profit clients, acting as the primary point of contact for complex technical queries.
- Lead the onboarding of new clients, establishing robust processes and procedures to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Drive the transition from traditional processing to daily/weekly "real-time" reporting using advanced online accounting software.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff, overseeing their professional development and the quality of management accounts and VAT preparation.
- Act as a technical consultant for clients requiring bespoke software setups, reporting frameworks, and tailored training.
- Oversee departmental operations, including resource allocation and the implementation of risk management systems.
- Manage client billing and job recoverability, ensuring the department meets its monthly and annual financial targets.
- Review weekly time sheets and monitor the delivery of services across the department to meet strict deadlines.
- Assist with the preparation of fee proposals for potential clients and participate in prospective client meetings.
- Support Partners and Senior Management in the general running of the Business Support department.
