As an Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager you will:

  • Manage statutory compliance and financial reporting assignments for a varied portfolio of medium and large clients across sectors including technology, PE-backed entities, retail, and media.
  • Deliver complex GAAP support and financial reporting advisory, including assisting non-audit clients seamlessly through their audit processes.
  • Provide expert technical guidance on UK reporting standards, including IFRS, FRS 102, FRS 101, and Companies Act requirements, alongside specialist areas such as acquisition accounting and share-based payments.
  • Oversee working capital, project budgeting, billing, and WIP recovery, while identifying fee-building and cross-selling opportunities across wider firm service lines.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, conducting appraisals, setting clear development objectives, and actively participating in recruitment interviews.

As the successful candidate you will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA fully qualified with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Demonstrate at least 1-2 years of experience operating in a Manager capacity with direct responsibility for a client portfolio within practice.
  • Possess comprehensive technical knowledge of FRS 102, FRS 101, IFRS, and UK Companies Act reporting requirements.
  • Have hands-on experience using professional accounts preparation software packages such as CCH.
