As an Indirect Tax Senior Manager you will:

  • Manage the successful delivery of complex tax projects, ensuring a practical and business-driven approach to identifying opportunities and mitigating indirect tax risks.
  • Act as a key member of client service groups, providing full tax services to a diverse portfolio and building long-term, trusted relationships.
  • Lead the delivery of pragmatic commercial advice to improve client reporting systems, reduce errors, and optimise working capital.
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth by proactively managing existing accounts and identifying opportunities to win new work in the regional and national market.

As the successful candidate you will:

  • Hold a recognised professional qualification (ATT / ACA / CA / Tax Specialist qualification or equivalent breadth of knowledge).
  • Possess extensive experience in Indirect Tax (VAT) gained within a large accountancy firm or a complex in-house environment.
  • Demonstrate strong technical authority with the ability to carry out effective risk reviews and manage client expectations at a senior level.
  • Display excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical VAT issues into commercial advice for a range of stakeholders.
