As an Audit Semi‑Senior, you will:

  • Carry out audit fieldwork according to the audit plan and established procedures, directly investigating irregularities and assessing internal systems and controls.
  • Assist with the initial audit planning stages, including identifying key audit risks and formulating appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the lead senior on a designated selection of smaller audit assignments to develop field‑management capabilities within 6–12 months.
  • Formulate clear recommendations for client systems improvements and compile necessary audit findings reports for management review.

As the successful candidate you will:

  • Be a part‑qualified ACCA professional with a minimum of one year of direct experience within a public practice audit environment.
  • Demonstrate a solid working understanding of UK auditing standards, financial reporting requirements, and FRS 102.
  • Exhibit previous experience or a strong technical interest in servicing clients within the Not‑for‑Profit sector.
  • Possess strong proficiency in utilising professional audit and accounts production software alongside advanced Excel skills.
